I have, for most of my thinking life, considered a political
career. Those ambitions are not because I have a need
for power, or an overwhelming desire to be the subject of editorials. As silly as it sounds by modern standards: I want to make a difference! I don't want to be President Patterson, or Senator Patterson. I have no
desire to leave my home to become a part of the D.C. fiasco.
Chances are, if I choose to run, it will be for a seat on the Columbus City Council and perhaps eventually for the office of Mayor. When and if you see my name on the ballot, it will be because I know I have something to offer.
